What every review captures
why every review looks the sameMost hotel reviews tell you about the lobby. Ours tell you whether you'll sleep. Every review on Rested Club follows the same four-criterion template — written by light sleepers for light sleepers.
Reviews are submitted by readers, verified by stay date, and never edited for tone.
- 01DarknessHow dark the room actually gets at 3am, not in the brochure. Blackout curtains, standby LEDs, light leaking under the door.
- 02QuietAC clicks, mini-fridge cycles, plumbing, neighbours, hallway, and street noise through the window. The full noise floor.
- 03BedMattress firmness and support, plus whether the pillow menu is one default brick or a real choice.
- 04Air & TemperatureWindows that open without letting the city in, AC that cools without rattling, fresh air that doesn't cost you silence.
The Rested Score
Every room gets a single number out of 10 — weighted toward what actually wakes you up. Quiet counts most, because nothing ruins a night faster than a 3am AC click. Hotels need three or more reviews before the score loses its “preliminary” marker.
Show the math
- 40%Quiet
- 28%Darkness
- 18%Bed
- 14%Air & Temperature
A penalty is applied when Quiet drops below 8, because no other category can compensate for a noisy room. A second smaller penalty applies if any single category falls below 5.
Reviews from members with more verified stays carry slightly more weight in the hotel's overall score, capped at 3×. This rewards consistent reviewers without letting any single voice dominate.
