The AC wasn't working. It was not cooling the room, just making noise, and at the same time I couldn't open the windows because of mosquitoes, and they had no mosquito nets. The hotel said that because of regulations, they are not allowed to turn the AC on yet. It was pretty empty during my stay, so I didn't hear much from the hallway or neighboring rooms. I think the noise insulation to the hallway could be better, though. Might be worth asking for a room further away from the elevator. I stayed in a Superior Double Room facing the backyard.
